Welcome to the GHS website

Welcome to the Grantham Historical Society website. An important part of the society’s mission is the promotion of the town’s considerable history and helping people to understand its importance. Our website is an essential tool for this purpose. On it you will find our mission, a brief history of the town, and news and events, plus links to genealogy, publications, our small but growing library, and membership information. Like the organization itself, our website will evolve over time and will include audio/visual presentations, video and relevant historical publications, much of which we hope to make available for download. Please come back often, and feel free to contact us if you have any questions.
